Jo's Cafe

Many years ago I worked for an area police department for about eight years.  During that time frame I worked with some wonderful people and have spits and spats of contact with my best friend from that time.

As my readers know the love of my life is currently doing a tour in Afghanistan.  Part of his duties are to assist in the training of the Afghan National Police; to include help train and keep up with the civilians who are there for the same purpose.

Wouldn’t you know it … two guys I worked with from my past are over there too and hubby has ran up on them severals times.  Now hubby didn’t have much contact with these fellows ‘cept through me, but seems they now are becoming good friends.  He told me on the last phone call, one picked him up from the local airport and they had a great chat about me.  Lordie!  

Makes me smile though.
