Note:  I will not sleep well or have any peace until the SGM is home and out of the military. And frankly, I’m to the point I can no longer support the actions in Iraq, or Afghanistan, due to the rules of engagements that tie our soldiers hands and make them the bad guys.

Knowing your devotion to your husband, our country and to our military, I know this had to be hard for you to come to grips with. Our prayers and best wishes are always with you and SGM as well as each of our guys and gals in uniform.

Be strong and stand by your convictions, regardless of where they lead you.

    This situation is just horrible.

There is so much I could post — but until he’s out, I’m keeping my mouth shut on specifics. The Marines have proven with these guys it doesn’t matter who is right or wrong, the terrorist will always win.

That’s just depressing. I don’t understand why our own military would take a stance like that.

I wonder if it’s because of the softening of the military during the Clinton administration.
