I am talking from human being to human being about an inhuman act that was committed by people that we as citizens are supposed to be able to trust. Unlawfulness committed against people that are charged with or convicted of crimes does not make it right just because these people are supposed to uphold the law! There has been an outcry in the liberal community about 3 terrorist committing suicide, but they won't say a word about someone doing the same cowardice act in Alabama. Riley, AL Dept. of Corrections, AL Bureau of Investigations, Congressman Mike Rogers, NAACP about the incident on November 9,2005. Lamar Benton was only one of the inmates that got beaten severely, stripped naked, dragged in the hallway, etc. I was promised an investigation would take place from at least three different places, that's why I did not involve the press or media. What happened with Lamar Benton is an outrage - he did not even had a trial and now he is dead. A lot of people incl. high officials knew what was going on and chose to keep quite. I have received warnings and threats (I have loved ones too and one of them is in prison). Unfortunately, he was in Russell County Jail on November 9, 2005 and he is getting reprimanded for having told the truth last year. I am afraid that more people will get hurt if the people that know are not coming forward - if they still have a conscience!?
