The 2-Hour Season Finale is on Monday, May 22nd 8/7c 

Jack is an extra passenger on the diplomatic plane headed to who knows where.  Who is the person on board with the taped evidence of President’s Logan traitorous acts against America? 

Chole is leaving Bill’s house as the HL Security team is one block away.  Bill tells Chloe to avoid the curfew by going to a nearby hotel.  By this time, Karen Hayes is about 90% on Jack’s side — something doesn’t feel right, you can see it in her eyes.  But of course, gung-ho Miles wants to do nothing more than destroy our beloved CTU, has other ideas.  He doesn’t understand why Karen is taking the lead on Bill’s arrest, interrogation, and calls Mike Novick.  Of course this phone call does nothing but get Mile’s hackles up about Logan keeping him out of the loop.  See, Karen had Bill taken into custody because Chloe wasn’t there, but her fingerprints were all over his computer — and Miles doesn’t understand why the HL team wasn’t allowed to do the interrogation on scene.  Then Karen wants the observation of Bill’s interrogation done in the situation room instead of her office. 

Martha is locked in her room and needs more medication.  You know, I can see why this women has gone off the deep end — look who she’s married to!!  She demands her medication and even tells her Secret Service Agent he has no personallity.  Frustrated, she calls Mike Novick, saying she needed to see him.  Once there, he refuses to give her any more medication, against doctor’s orders, but when she starts babbling and won’t clarify her statements by saying, “I can’t say,” Mike gets an uneasy feeling.

Chloe finds the hotel Bill advised her about and sets up her laptap in the bar.  Of course the obligatory drunken salesman is sitting at the bar hitting on women.  How obvious.  She hooks up with Karen and Jack, and gets from Karen the manifest and finds the Air Marshall and someone connected to Henderson.  She relays this information to Jack.  Oh, and Chloe is the hero of all women in hotel bars.  Mr. Drunken salesman, after being blown off by Chloe once, comes back for more – and gets the shock of his life.  Chloe pops his ass with a stun gun.  Chloe, girlfriend, we have to talk — I’ll take two.  

While all this transpires, our hero is in the belly of the plane moving toward that hatch to the cabin of the plane.  Once he’s entered the cabin, into the stewardesses area (without being seen at ALL mind you), he finds the passenger, Meyers, Chloe told him had connections to Henderson, takes out the Air Marshall, releaving him of his gun at the same time.  Jack takes Meyers back into the belly of the plane to find the tape.

The captain turns on the fasten seat-belt sign and the stewardess’ tell the passengers to get back to their seats.  Ooops, we have one missing – not in the bathrooms either.  Wait, the Air Marshall comes too and finds his piece missing.  The captain is informed and the cabin is “secured.”  Like – duh, where are they going to go?  Chloe figures out that Meyers may not be the guy after all — he has been in customs for three hours; not enough time to meet up with Henderson and get the tape.  She searches through the manifest and keeps trying to find connections.  Jack tries to get out of the belly of the plane but finds the hatch locked.  The pilot turns the plane around to land and the Air Marshall tells him to “go ahead”.  The pilot starts removing air from the luggage area.  Jack through Chloe and Karen talks to the pilot on his super-duper spy cell-phone.  How can I be talking to you through CTU if I’m not who I say I am?  The pilot wonders for a second, but stays on course.  Jack rips a panel from the ceiling and taking a belt, starts messing with the cables exposed.  This sends the plane lurching in air.  Hope the passengers had heeded the pilots seat-belt sign. 

Martha gets a few of her pills from Mike – who had a heated discussion with Logan about her.  Logan claims all this “tension” Martha is experiencing is the fact they realized their marriage was unrepairable and they are going to stay together until he’s out of office.  Mike has no backbone anymore.  Since he turned on Palmer, he’s lost his edge. 

Karen has Bill in a room and while Miles sits down to watch, she cuts the feed to the room. Her and Bill discuss the events of the day. While this is going on, Jack is released from the luggage compartment and enters the cabin gun first.  Of course for effect, the passengers scream.  Chloe is still digging through manifests and calls the security office at the airport wanting to know why the regular co-pilot didn’t board the plane.  The co-pilot is a stand-in.  She pulls up his history and he’s the connection to Henderson.  She relays this to Jack.  Jack calls the pilot and lets him in on what has transpired. 

Logan finds out that Jack has “stolen” the plane and calls Karen. He tells her that Jack is a fugative and when the plane lands, his Secret Service agents are going to board it and take Jack into custody.  We all know that Jack wouldn’t make it off that plane alive. 

The pilot believes Jack and gets up to “stretch” because of a cramp in his leg.  When he tries to leave the cock-pit, the co-pilot knocks him out with a flashlight.  Jack breaks into the cockpit and gets control of Evans, the co-pilot.  Jack gets the tape from him.

Graham (the bad guy) finds out Jack has the tape after intercepting the call between Chloe and Karen.  He informs Logan and tells him the plane has to be shot down.  The look on Logan’s face is priceless — feel the vice tightening do we?
