Discussion at Work

by Jo | April 11th, 2006

Of course there were the normal conversations of the upcoming merger, and typical office stuff, but there was one conversation that was very interesting; and it was about the illegal immigration issue.

My co-worker asked a question I can’t answer, or find the answer to.

Why doesn’t America have a standardized language?  ie: English

Good question.  But I think the answer is found here:

First to destroy America, “Turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country.

For those that want to destroy America, they don’t want a standardized language.  How much money would the local, state and federal government save if they didn’t have to print everything in two languages?

I was in Home Depot this weekend and noticed something I didn’t before.  The isle signs telling you where stuff is in the store is written in two languages; English and Spanish.  When you go to check out at both Wal-Mart and Home Depot, before you swipe your debit card, you have to chose a language.  Home much money and time would be saved if there was only one choice?

Save our country.  Make us one.
