BTW:  From an article in my Soap Opera Weekly, the writers changed the “bad guy” about 8 episodes into the series and made it President Logan.  Interesting…

Curfew and Martial law still in effect.  Jack, Wayne, Amy and Evelyn in a car headed to her bank to get the evidence.  Wayne reminds Jack of the military patrols.  They pull into a motel parking lot and Jack asks Wayne to get them a room.  Jack calls Audrey.  He tells her about the President.  He needs more information to his PDA.  When they get the evidence, they have to tell Audrey’s father. We can’t trust anyone.  Logan has everyone at his disposal. 

Henderson is on the phone with Logan.  I haven’t been able to locate him yet, or the evidence Evelyn has.  Henderson assures him he’ll find them.  Logan tells him, “Everything went wrong.  This was planned to make our country safer and stronger.  It went wrong when you decided to kill David Palmer.”

Hayes and his scumbag assistant talk about the take over.  She wonders if the take over was the right thing. Logan calls Hayes. Logan asks Karen where Jack Bauer is. He’s gone off grid. Logan is issuing an executive order to arrest Jack Bauer and make it CTUs priority. He’s being charged with the roll in killing David Palmer.  New evidence has come to light, “I’m looking at it right now and will forward to you at the appropriate time.”  Don’t tell anyone where the origin of this warrant came from.  She tells the scumbag about the warrant.  She doesn’t like this – going after Jack without the evidence.  Scumbag says they need to keep and eye on Audrey.  I think he’s in on this somehow.

Chloe and Audrey look at fake information in a folder to fool people.  Audrey tells Chloe about Logan.  They need to help Jack.  The warrant pops up on Chloe’s computer.  Hayes tells Chloe and Audrey about some new evidence, which is forthcoming, and won’t tell Audrey who ordered it.  She reminds them they have a legal obligation to tell her if they talk to Jack.  Hayes tells them this situation bothers her too.

They are bugging Audrey’s car.

Jack and Wayne arrive at the bank manager’s house and break in. The manager and wife are in bed watching TV and he (Carl) hears something and goes to check on it.  Jack confronts him and his wife goes to call 911. They think it’s a robbery. Jack tells them he’s going to get them into the bank. He can’t – the alarm system won’t let them in unless it’s banking hours. Jack points the gun at Carl’s wife. Carl gets dressed. They tie his wife up.

Audrey calls her father.  He asks her if this was about the arrest warrant for Jack.  He’s being set up.  She can’t go into it – wants to tell him in person.  She asks him to reroute his plane and says it’s extremely important.  He agrees.  Her father reroutes his plane and tells his assistant to keep it off the manifest. Audrey stops at a gas station and calls Chloe.  She tells Audrey how to check for the bug.  She finds it she attaches it to a truck that’s parked in the gas sation and drives away. 

Aaron comes and gets Logan for the press conference - the VP stops him.  He asks him about the warrant against Jack and Aaron hears it – he looks concerned. Gardner says he didn’t issue it so it had to come from you.  Yes.  Don’t you think you should have discussed it with me?  I am still Commander and Chief.  But Jack Bauer?  He should be recognized as a hero.  Logan tap dances with Gardner.  He tells him he has information, and ”that’s enough I’m not going to stand here and have my orders challenged.”  We’ll sort this out when Jack’s in custody.  Gardner looks oddly after him.

Amy is trying to help her mother Evelyn, who has passed out and there is blood everywhere.  She cries in the bathroom and it wakes Evelyn up.  Evelyn goes to her and falls down.  Amy panics.  She calls 911. Someone calls Henderson and tells him about the 911 call for Evelyn Martin.  DAMN!

Logan gives a press conference telling the people the terrorist threat is over.  He takes credit for everything. Martha comes up and talks to Aaron. She asks Aaron what was wrong.

Jack, Wayne and Carl stop in a parking lot and have to go on foot to the bank.  Jack gets a call from Aaron. He tells Jack about the warrant.  Jack tells Aaron it’s not Gardner, but Logan, and to watch his back.  Jack, Wayne and Carl move out and have to hide from the military.

Harris, the tracker calls Hayes and tells her she lost Audrey.  Damn, how’d she find it?  She calls scumbag and tells him to redirect a satellite to find Audrey – she’ll lead us to Bauer.

Jack, Wayne and Carl arrive at the bank.  Jack tells Carl if he makes one wrong move and alerts the police, he’ll make one phone call and his wife is dead.  They enter the bank and Carl disables the alarm.  Where is the vault?  Carl recognizes Wayne.  He asks him who Jack is and why they are there robbing his bank.  Wayne tells them they believe there is evidence in a safety deposit box that can prove who killed David.  They tell him they tried to kill Wayne twice already, that’s why they didn’t wait until morning.

The ambulance attendant is at the hotel and they get shot by Henderson.  Where is Bauer?  Amy screams.

Martha walks in on Logan.  “I thought you went to bed?”  “No”.  She tells Charles he was magnificent.  If you only knew girlie girlie.  She’s proud of him – just wait Martha.   They kiss. She talks about how selfish she was.  She apologizes.  He accepts it.  Slime bucket. His cell phone rings.  It is Henderson.  He knows where Bauer is at.  “Let me know when it is done.”  Martha asks him “when what was done?”  He says it was his speech writer.  She doesn’t believe him by that look.

Scumbag tells Hayes they found Audrey and they call Harris (the tail).  Kerry at CTU goes to Chloe and asks if she has a minute and she says no.  She tells Chloe that someone has taken control of the satellite.  She’ll take care of it and finds out that they are tracking Audrey.  She leaves her station. 

Black vehicles pull up to the bank and armed men get out.  Jack – look out!  One of the guys calls Henderson and tells them they are in place.  Henderson tells them the instance Jack steps out of the bank to take him down.

Jack and Wayne get in the vault and unlock the box.  Carl tells Wayne he admired his brother a great deal.  Jack listens to the tape.  Carl figures out its President Logan’s voice.  Jack apologizes to Carl. (What manners)  He wants to help and they ask to take his car. They see Henderson’s people.  Jack goes out to the bank lobby and checks out the area with one of them neato one-eyed binos (hubby has some of those!) Carl wants to turn themselves in and Jack says they aren’t there to arrest them, but to kill them.  Jack wants to trip the alarm. Henderson will engage the police – use it as a diversion.  Carl triggers the alarm. Oh man talk about an adrenaline rush!!! 

Chloe goes to computer room and opens up a socket.  Scumbag tells Harris the satellite feed should be coming through. Chloe does something to the feed and it starts breaking up. They figure out its from the server and that Chloe isn’t at her desk.  Move Chloe Move!  Scumbag heads to where Chloe is and … she’s gone!  He goes back out to the floor and she’s coming out of the bathroom.  He asks her what she was doing, and she says, “Are you kidding?  If you really want the details I’ll write you a report.”

Jack, Carl and Wayne wait on the police.  Jack wants Carl to stay.  He says no, if they find him they’ll get him to talk, he’ll take his chances with Wayne and Jack.  Henderson tells the guys to move in and the PD arrives.  Henderson tells them to take the PD down.  And we have another gun battle folks.  Jack comes out of the bank firing.  The three run and Henderson’s men are taking down the PD.  Here comes the National Guard!!!  Jack, Wayne and Carl take a police car.  It is government property; they work for the government, why not!   Carl was hit, he’s dead.

Audrey arrives at the airport to meet her father. Jack calls Audrey and tells her they are on the way.  They have the evidence, they’ve listened to it.  You know what this means?  “We’re talking about taking down the President of the United States! ”
