Ah we finally have Survivor back on the air. Hopefully no more “sports” events will keep it off air until the end. Of course they had to recap everything from two weeks ago.
Night 15 at Casaya and it’s all wet. Everyone is complaining, but I can appreciate that. I “HATE” being cold. That’s why I don’t live in my home state anymore. Evidently Shane elbowed someone during the night when all she was trying to do was get warm. Maybe tonight we can get rid of him? Ah, the merge is brought up by Bruce.
On Exile Island, Sally is talking about how great it was to be there. She’s looking for the idol.
Over at La Mina they’re talking about food and the merge again. Tree Mail!
Sounds like the reward might be something to sleep on. They have to go look on their back beach. There is a boat with a box and another clue. Firewood. They cannot open any of the items until they meet up with Casaya. MERGE! They start taking apart they camp and packing up. Terry talks about having the idol.
Back at Casaya everyone is just being lazy. But what do our wondering eyes see - A boat with La Mina members. Casaya members start shoveling down the rice so they don’t have to share. Shane says we have to all stay together and vote them off. Everyone hugs. They unload the boat and Bruce talks about being happy. And now here comes Sally from Exile Island.
They open the crate and read the message. One tribe and new buffs and paint for a new flag. Drinks and snacks also. Lots of fruit, pickled snacks, cracker, cheese and wine. Now the rice doesn’t look so good to have been shoveled in. Everyone is being so nice. Yeah right.
They start working on a new shelter and Terry takes charge. Oh my, Shane is happy about it. Shane doesn’t think Terry has the immunity idol and next chance they get, he’s voted off. No, ass wipe, you’re next. Terry tells Bruce he doesn’t have to worry about anything; they need him to come over. God I love merges. Shane figures out what Terry is doing and now he wants to make him feel like a leader – like a tribe member like they didn’t do before. Bruce realizes he’s the swing vote for both tribes. He loves it.
Oops, and accident with the machete and Bruce is the victim. Lots of blood, but facial injuries always bleed more than anything.
Day 17 Gitanos is the new tribe name. Bruce is creating the flag. He is an Art Teacher. Austin talks to Aras about tribe dynamics. He figures out its going to be hard to flip anyone over to their side. Many alliances are being sought – Terry talks to Shane. Then he goes to talk to Cerie about joining their group. All this would keep them worry free for about two weeks. She laughs about it away from him. They all sit around the camp and just stare at each other.
Immunity Challenge
Jeff talks about the merge. Nick says it was amazing. Jeff gets back the old immunity idol and shows them the immunity necklace. Ugly
Test of endurance. Hang upside down with your arms and legs wrapped around a pole. Hang as long as you can. Last person left hanging wins immunity.
After 13 minutes several have dropped out.
Austin, Terry and Nick left after 20 minutes.
30 minutes and Austin is out. Nick and Terry are left. We know Terry has the small idol, but he’s faking them out.
40 minutes.
Nick drops out after 46 minutes and Terry wins immunity.
Now I thought Bruce would win this with his martial arts skills – the old mind over body situation.
Back at camp, the backstabbing is going to start. Shane. Vote off Shane. Can we channel together please? Terry sucks up to Bruce, he still wants him on their side. Bruce is glad they have a high respect for him. Austin is worried he’s going to be voted off. I don’t know why really, it’s not that he’s been a problem with his tribe. He’s been in the background. (Okay Tre, does that help?) Nick thinks he’s going. He feels that he and Austin are the next up to be voted off. I just don’t see why!? Shane yells out to everyone they are having a Casaya meeting. They talk about who to vote off. Cerie brings up Nick. Shane brings up Austin. Terry and La Mina talk about how rude Shane was, as well as his tribe members. They are going to vote for Shane as a shot across the bow to him. I hope they get enough votes to get him off!
Tribal Council
Courtney tells Jeff the name of the new tribe. They talk back and forth about the merge and the immunity challenge. Shane talks about how Casaya has the numbers, so he wasn’t going to wear himself out in the immunity challenge. They talk like two tribes not one.
Vote
La Mina is voting for Shane I’m sure, even though they don’t have the numbers. We’ve seen his name once already. Now one for Nick is shown. Austin and Nick looked worried.
Jeff tallies the votes
Shane (4)
Nick (6)
Nick is voted out.
That shot across the bow sucked didn’t it Shane?? You may not have gone tonight ass wipe, but your goose is in the pot of hot water.
9 Remain.
Who will be voted off next?

That rice-gobbling was stupid; haven’t these people watched the show before? There’s always some sort of feast at the merge to help bring the two tribes together.
