Martha in the motorcade - what is Charles going to do?
Bill in holding.
Lynn losing his mind.
Jack outside CTU again.

The terrorists are watching the motorcade - 40 minutes to ambush. HUGE weapons being unloaded. Mike thinks the attack will happen downtown. He and Charles find out that Martha is in the motorcade with Aaron. OH MY GOD! The secret service doesn’t know. Alert!! No, don’t - wait. What does the weak one do now? Get Martha on the phone. Martha ignores Charles. Don’t force her or she’ll tell.

Audrey needs Edgar. Lynn goes off on him - losing it. Audrey and Chole meet. Who is Christopher Henderson and who is he to Jack? Audrey calls Jack. Omnicron made the gas. Jack needs to get inside. Henderson recruited Jack, Jack helped get him fired. Chloe needs Edgar to cover for her while she works on Jack’s cover to get into Omnicron.

The motorcade continues. Logan wants to talk to the terrorists to stop the attack. They need to get Martha out.

Lynn fires Kerry (one of Chloe’s subordinates). Edgar argues her case and Lynn threatens to fire him too.

Lynn walks in on Audrey and Chloe. She needed Chloe, Lynn yells at her - Everything runs through ME. DOD overrides CTU.

Jack/Barrie is in; 4:30 appointment. Jack calls Audrey, get rid of Henderson’s secretary. Jack goes in the office and Henderson stuns him. He then wakes Jack up and tells him he never thought he was dead. Why are you here? All the gas went to DOD. They destroyed it. Terrorists have 19 canisters, threatening to release it. My history with CTU is known, someone is using it. I had nothing to do with it Jack. Prove it.

Chloe and Edgar take some information to Lynn about chatter and Suberoff’s motorcade. He dresses them down in front of Curtis. They leave. Curtis suggests that some resources be used to look into it and Lynn blows him off.

The terrorists move out to the hit point.

Audrey goes to Lynn about the chatter and he screams at her. Everyone in the office hears him yelling at Audrey (losing it). Audrey IMs Chloe and Edgar to meet her in the hallway. She wants to tell the secret service, but needs Lynn’s digital signature. Needs to forge it. Chloe and Edgar will help. Audrey talks to Curtis about taking over using Section 1.12. We need Bill. You’re the ranking agent Curtis - you can turn it around. CTU is bleeding, think about it. I will.

The motorcade continues (and yes, I’m repeating myself). Logan is looking at pictures as Mike walks in. Fifteen minutes to the airport. Pray with me Mike.

Edgar and Chloe’s screens go blank. Lynn has cut them off. Did you think I wouldn’t catch on? Lynn orders Curtis to arrest Chloe and Edgar and remove Audrey. Curtis takes charge. Lynn screams at other agents to follow his orders. Curtis reminds him of Section 1.12. The other agents look to Curtis and follow his orders. They remove Lynn while he’s screaming at them about prosecution. Lynn has Bill released and reinstated.

Curtis fills in Bill about the chatter. Tell in the secret service. Reinstated Kerry. Where is Jack? Where are the canisters? Bill calls Logan and tells him what they know, the motorcade is going to be hit downtown. Logan is in shock. Mike tells Bill that Martha is in the motorcade, the weak one is speechless.

The terrorists are set up.

PROTOCOL RED!!!! Turn the motorcade around.

Shots fired.

Under-attack, need back up.

Missile is fired - Chloe sees it on her screen. The motorcade is hit.

Aaron is down — then comes to while two terrorist are trying to get into the presidential limo. He opens the door and takes them down. Back up arrives.

Mike gets a call from the field agent and tells him the attack was bad, everyone is shook up but okay. The terrorists are going to think that Logan tipped off the motorcade. We need to be prepared for that they do next.

Jack and Henderson walking to the bunker. Security was tight, each agency had their own bunker. They rehash old history about what Jack did.

Henderson searches the data base. Allen Berkett - lead investigator; dead. Two other scientists working on the project are also dead. CTU needs the information, Henderson goes next door to IT. Jack tries to call CTU but the phones are dead … and the door is locked. He finds a bomb that Henderson left. I should have known. Henderson walks out of the building talking to a women on the phone. What about Bauer? Won’t be a problem soon.

Jack puts the bomb by the door and piles up file cabinets and stuff.

Henderson sets off the bomb.

But our hero is alive!! He climbs out of the rubble.

The terrorists call Logan. I didn’t tell them. The US will pay with the lives of its citizens.
