Of course they recapped last weeks show.

5 are left.
Tonight there will be 4.

Night 33 - After Tribal Council

Back at camp there is talk about how they voted Judd out. Cindy thought they were voting Lydia out, but no one told her that was Judd. She is worried about the pattern of not telling others about what is going on - is she next?

Day 34 - Rafe is the last man standing, and he likes being with all the girls. Lydia says that Rafe is “gentle” and is one of the “girls”. Rafe talks about his close friendship with the four “girls”.

They gather for tree mail and what do their wondering eyes see? Car keys!! Steph says she doesn’t own a car and really could use one. This was the best tree mail so far. Lydia says it would be great to win the car for her son.

Reward Challenge.

Jeff is standing by a 2006 Pontiac Torrant. Everyone is excited. The winner of the challenge not only gets the Pontiac, but they get to drive to an archaeology camp, feast and spend the night.

On to the challenge. They must walk down a plank and untie 3 bundles of macanas (sp). The first 3 to collect all move on to the second phase.

Danni, Cindy and Steph win.

The second phase is to use the macanas they just got to break a tile by throwing it. The first 2 to break their tile move on to the third phase.

Cindy and Steph win.

The third phase they have to untie a bag with puzzle pieces in it and put it together. After that, you jump into a cart, cut the robe and roll down the hill.

Cindy wins reward — the new car and food!

But wait — Jeff has a surprise. Cindy can make a choice. She can keep her brand new car or give it up and give the other four tribe members — their own Pontiac Torrant!!! At this point, 4 brand new vehicles drive into the challenge area. Everyones jaws drop. Jeff reminds Cindy that in 10 episodes of Survivor, no one that has ever one the vehicle challenge goes on to win the $1,000,000 finale.

Cindy hems and haws, but says that the car is just a curse that can be beat and she decides to keep her car. Good for you girlfriend! Jeff then says, of course, that she can take one other person with her. Lydia looks hopeful, but of course — she chooses Steph. The rest are sent back to camp while Cindy and Steph get in the new car and drive away.

They show Cindy and Steph driving through the jungle and Cindy talks about how excited Steph is for her, and it shows. Steph tells her not to feel bad about winning, that there are no guarantees in this game. They drive to the archaeology site and the archaeologist is waiting for them. He shows them the food and drink, and tells them he will return later.

Steph and Cindy settle down to grilling the meat and chowing down. The archaeologist does return later and tells them stories about the Mayan people and their history.

Back at the camp there is talk about Cindy’s decision. Rafe says he would have given up the vehicle and given the other 4 members a new car. Because — 4 happy people wouldn’t vote him out.

Cindy and Steph go to their sleeping area, complete with mosquito nets. They talk strategy, including voting Danni out. They figure that Lydia will go along with it, but Rafe may be hard to turn. Steph feels he’ll go along with them.

Day 35

Cindy and Steph return to camp and they ask about the new car. Then Cindy goes on and and on and on about the car. You can tell by the others body language that she’s gone a bit too far. Rafe mentions that Cindy can’t even see that everyone else is uncomfortable. Cindy tells the camera she doesn’t think anyone is upset about her talking about the car all the time. Clue darling — they are sick of you and your damn car. Even I muted you!

Rafe and Steph talk about strategy and he tells her he would have given up the car, which shocks Steph. She tells him she wouldn’t have. Steph later says to the camera that she doesn’t believe Rafe, that he’s trying to be a martyr. Rafe wonders to the camera if he’s being to nice in this game.

Immunity Challenge.

Each person is attached to a long rope, which is locked to a pole. Each person’s hands and feet are shackled. They get a key ring with 10 keys, they have to unlock their hands, then the lock around the pole. Unwind the rope and move on to the next pole and unlock that one. When they get to the last pole - there are 4 - when they unlock that rope, the key to unlock the shackles on their feet will be found. Then they have to run to the flag and release it - if they have enough rope.

Steph gets through the puzzle first, but can’t reach her flag. She has a couple knots in her rope, but she is able to untie them and win her first ever immunity challenge. She is guaranteed to be in the final 4.

Back at camp everyone congratulates Steph.

Rafe tells Danni that he won’t vote of her and she says the same thing. But — she also adds that she’s not sure if she can trust him either. Rafe and Steph talk and he tries to talk her into voting off Cindy. Steph is worried about voting someone off and putting then on the jury that could cost her the final vote - if she gets that far.

Steph tells the camera she doesn’t want to vote Cindy off.

Cindy and Steph talk about maybe voting off Rafe; then she talks to Danni about it too while all three are eating corn. And where the heck is Lydia?

Tribal Council

The jury comes in and Judd still looks like he’s pissed. Ah, what class that one had things he has.

Jeff asks about the mood around the camp. Rafe says he feels threatened. Danni has always been worried ever since the merge.

Vote!

We see: Rafe & Cindy’s name. Lydia’s vote is not shown, but she says she voted with the tribe.

Jeff counts the vote: Rafe, Cindy, Cindy, Cindy — 3 is all that is needed, Cindy’s torch is put out. She tells them she will think about them while looking at the stars through the sun roof of her new car. At least she didn’t call them scumbags!

4 Remain

Sunday night at 8 pm ET is the 2 hour finale.

Three more tribal councils.
Two more immunity challenges.
One survivor.

  1. I bet after that Tribal Council, Cindy’s glad she didn’t give any of them a car!
