Adopt a Soldier

I would presume that the majority of my readers are either Rush listeners on a daily basis, or in some fashion. If not, you may have missed what he has done now.

Rush has started the Adopt a Soldier program. From the webiste:

Welcome to the Rush 24/7 Adopt-A-Soldier Program, where service members can register to receive a Rush 24/7 membership from a pool donated by Dittoheads.

Sponsors may adopt as many soldiers as they would like at a reduced price. Each adopted soldier will receive a complimentary, one year subscription to Rush 24/7
and the Limbaugh Letter.

If you are an active member of the military who would like to register, or a family member or friend of an active member of the US Armed Forces who would like to register their name, please click the blue Armed Forces Registrant bar below and follow the provided instructions. Of course, you’ll have to go to his site to click on the blue or gold bars, but I didn’t want to bust up the paragraph.

I plan on doing this, as I’ve been a member of 24/7 for a while and want to be able to provide our soldiers the opportunity, if they want, to get the same thing. While hubby is in Afghanistan, he will be able to get Rush through my subscription. As I understand it, Armed Forces Network (AFN) only runs 1 hour of Rush a day - and he does 3 hours total.

Rush started this on a caller’s suggestion and the price is reduced from what I pay yearly to get just website and pod download access alone - but with the Adopt a Soldier set up, they not only get the website access and pod download, they also get his newsletter.
