You know how you have this odd noise in your car and when you take it to the mechanic and as soon as you drive into the service station — the damn noise stops? Then it doesn’t start again until you drive off the lot with the service manager making odd faces at you.

Well the CSM gets home to take the boy to the vet — and his nose isn’t bleeding. He puts him outside before going to the vet and he and Bubba run the length of the yard. He just knows there is going to blood from one end of the yard to the other.

Nothing.

Gets him to the vet.

Nothing.

They took x-rays and did blood work. His red blood count is down a “bit” but nothing to worry about and his damn nose didn’t bleed once the whole time he was at the vet’s office. Doc is going to talk to the guys at Auburn University. They have the CatScan machine and we may end up taking him up there to get a full scan.

And all the way home last night — no blood.

Throughout the evening — no blood.

This morning as I’m going to the garage to get their food, he snorts. The kitchen floor is covered in blood, to include a basket of clothes I just put there.

Life with animals — God thank you for these 2, but give me strength!
