MSM Tries Again

Friday, 14 October 2005, 5:55

The word is out that “Bush staged a teleconference with troops” — supposedly with staged answers.

Ankle Biting Pundits says that isn’t the case:

All I see is the deputy assistant Defense Secretary giving the order of soldiers who will answer the questions – and when you read the article you see that the reason for this is that the particular soldiers are answering specific questions because they are the ones who know the most about the subject matter. Yet another example of pathetic MSM bias.

Well, we all have to decide where our trust lies. I know mine isn’t anywhere near the MSM.

UPDATE: Oh, this is so, so priceless! Look at the segment that aired on the Today show just before they aired the attempt to smear Bush for STAGING!! NewsBusters has it here….(HT: Michelle Malkin)

Was so scripted that the President didn’t go off “schedule” and talk to an Iraqi soldier …

The AP is nothing but a collective of biased reporters. Over at Iowa Voice, Brian posts a nice, complete, and fair evaluation of this mistitled attempt at smearing Bush once again.

Brian also has a post on Richard Doak and the Des Moines Register urging Kerry to sue the Swifties for Libel. Too bad Doak is a deluded leftie who thinks that you get your way by getting in front of a Carter or Clinton appointed judge to have your liberal view mandated into law by judicial fiat. All Kerry would prove is that he’s stuck on stupid if he filed such a suit.
