AP reports on a speech by Algore in Sweden:

STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) – Former Vice President Al Gore said Wednesday he had no intention of ever running for president again, but he said the United States would be “a different country” if he had won the 2000 election, launching into a scathing attack of the Bush administration.

Update: Just in case anyone doubted, when I said Gore’s statement was true, I am agreeing that the country would be different….among other things, the terrorists would have had a field day blowing parts of our country to bits on a regular basis.

Here’s PoliPundit’s attempt at an analysis of what might have happened if Gore had won in 2000.
