I&#039;m with you on the &quot;line&quot; thing.   Marriage has a purpose.. procreation between a man and a woman so as to create a family.   There are other legal rights which man has created for those types of unions (marriages).   However, if gay people choose to be loyal to one person, I feel they should be able to enjoy those same legal rights.  I just have a hard time calling it &quot;marriage&quot;, because I&#039;m traditional and I do believe that &quot;religious right&quot; (as I consider it to be) is intended between a man and a woman.   Many people don&#039;t consider this a religious right.  Many people (men and woman who are married to each other) treat it like it is a minor legal technicality, but that&#039;s not me.   This is why the divorce rate is so high.
