… that these people at the Weather Channel are just too damn happy about Katrina.
Fox News should NOT let Geraldo do any reporting when it comes to natural disasters. He was using adjectives that were way too long and morbid last night.
Steve Harrigan needs a raise guys. Or his head examined.
Next time your Mayor and President says ‘get the hell out’, do it.

Amen to that. Some people just won’t listen. I’m praying for them all.

Steve Harrigan is amazing! He just finally agreed to wear goggles, the anchors just told him he is getting TONS of emails demanding it!
And what the h*ll is Sheperd Smith doing in the French Quarter? Has he completely lost his mind??
Just hearing that things might not be so horrible in New Orleans as the worst case scenarios. We still might have our own personal Venice in the US though….

I have decided that Steve Harrigan has got to be Fox News Channel’s designated lightning rod for anything that threatens life, limb or mental stability.
I have admired, and sometimes wondered about, Steve Herrigan ever since he did the coverage from the early strikes of the war in Iraq.
I saw him riding in the car with the new Mexican sherrif through a town that had just lost the last 2 sherrifs to mob killings. The last sherrif lasted only 8 hours into his term after being elected.
I would love to know if he ‘volunteers’ for those assignments or if he is sent to them on orders from Fox News.

I got to see Tony Perkins on GMA get blown down on the tv this a.m. - he did not look happy. But you’re right, the people at the Weather Channel, these are the moments when they get to SHINE. They are probably on top of the world while trying desperately to look serious.

You are right about Geraldo. Although I think back to the empty safe - maybe they hope he’ll chance the news, er, the hurricane away.
