Disturbed People

Friday, 12 August 2005, 16:47

Michelle Malkin does not have comments open on her blog. After reading some of the email she gets, I don’t blame her. The moonbats would flood her site with nasty, vile comments until the server crashed – then dance around with their tinfoil hats spinning all a twitter that they accomplished something.

Michelle, as well as a lot of other bloggers, are talking about Cindy Sheehan. If you haven’t heard about her, turn on the news, or go to Google. Ms. Sheehan is a mother who lost a son in Iraq. A son that voluntarily joined the United States Army.

Now — anyone knows that I support free speech — I wore the uniform, my husband wears the uniform and Ms. Sheehan’s son wore the uniform for that freedom.

What I can’t stand is the fact the left wing nut cases have run drooling like rabid dogs to Ms. Sheehan’s side. They have a poster child for their lies — a willing poster child I might add.

Andy Warhol said “In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes”?

Well — Ms. Sheehan is getting her “15 minutes” and much more. Micheal Moore must be orgasming over this, as well as Al Snore. This grieving mother who wants to NOW change her statement regarding the president, is being lead around like a blind sheep to slaughter. Slap a price tag on her — she’s up for sale to the highest bidder. Media whore? She’s learning fast isn’t she?

BUT — the really disturbing part are the other sheep of the left wing attack machine that run around the blogosphere posting nasty emails like Michelle was getting – that does nothing but show how disturbed they are (and how much the physchiatrict community never has to worry about being out of a job).

Michelle is not the only one receiving garbage like that, other bloggers who are NOT supporting Ms. Sheehan’s moonbattery are having the same problems.

My grandmother, god rest her soul, use to say, “If you can’t say anything nice about someone, keep your mouth shut.” (Grandmother was a straight from the hip shooter in her day)

Exactly — but it seems that for the time I’ve spent in the internet, and blogging in general, the crap I see are people who are in the middle or to the right experiencing mindless, unintelligent, childish attacks like Michelle has gone through.

People — grow the hell up or get your fracking Prozac filled.

If you won’t debate an issue like an adult, I don’t want your comments.

If you can’t say anything that is intelligent and factual, with proof, I don’t want your comments.

If all you can show the world is that the left wing nut cases of the democratic party are nothing more than a bunch of moonbat sheep following Micheal Moore off the cliff — the Republican party will remain in power.

Stop and think before you comment, or email someone. We all have the right to disagree, and debate an issue. There are issues I have with a friend that we never discuss, because we respect our friendship more than letting certain things get in the way. THAT is a mature way to handle things. All I have seen from the left wing dimwits is attack, lie, abuse, use, etc.

Do you really want a party in power that has supporters like that? I sure the hell don’t. Until the Democratic party LOUDLY and VISUALLY removes themselves from the left wing attack machine of their party, they will be the minority in everything, and useless as yesterdays newspaper.

Grow the hell up people.

    Excellent post!

And you shouldn’t be envious of anyone…I think you expressed what many of us are thinking about Mrs. Sheehan and the company she keeps.

Yep, I’ve had it with Miss Cindy Fifteen Minutes and her sycophants.

Who the hell does she think she is, anyway? What makes HER so much more worthy of the President’s attention than any of the other grieving family members? She’s special because she hates him? WTF is that shit all about? What does she think he would do after meeting with her (AGAIN)? Pull the troops out of Iraq? Bring back Casey? Give her ANOTHER hug? It’s all a BS stunt.

And you know what? I read that Casey re-enlisted–IN IRAQ. Because he was a MAN, not a whiny bitch like his mother. To hell with her; any sympathy I had for her is gone. There are plenty of other grieving parents who have my sympathy, but they aren’t scum who leech of their loved ones’ dead bodies.

I agree — a military wife and mother from our area here at Fort Benning when went down to Crawford yesterday, flew down for one day, just to counter protest that bitch. She’s being SOOOO used by that left wing and when her time is done, she’ll be kicked to the curb like yesterday’s newspaper.

I’m just curious, because I don’t know, but what exactly are the lies being told by the “left wing nut cases” that you reference above?

  5. 5Pat

Kyle, you need to get out more.

  6. 6Thom

    Kyle,
One lie the mother seems to have grabbed on is that the war is being fought for Israel. Another, that Bush went to war to make his buddies rich with oil. They seem opposite but I guess they didn’t stop to see it before briefing her.

I classify Ms. Sheedevil as beneath contempt. She stands there, repudiating everything her son believed in, and claims she’s “grieving”. That’s not grief, it’s not even guilt (guilt would require she honor her son’s beliefs by stating them even as she states her own) — it’s two-bit narcissism. She’s got the limelight, and she’s gonna use it no matter how poorly it reflects on those associated with her.

Be interesting to see if one of her kids ever shows up to “support” her. Be a sure sign the loony gene got passed on, anyways.

    > what exactly are the lies being told by the “left wing nut cases” that you reference above?

    1) “Bush lied, people died”
    2) Saddam & Al-queda-terrorists: No links
    3) “Downing Street Memo”
    4) “Quagmire”

For the first three, just parse through Little Green Footballs for links to refutations of their absurdities.

For the last, go to either the late Steven Vincent’s blog
In the Red Zone or Michael Yon’s excellent blog. Either one has a far more sensible, rational, and on-the-spot discussion of the issues in Iraq. Not “everything is hunky dory!” — just the truth, and you can tell it is because it very much makes sense in terms of the “Big” events you do know about — like the turnout for the elections despite bomb threats, and the lack of overall anti-American protest marches in Iraq (which would be rampant if they considered us “occupiers”

    > Andy Warhol said “In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes”?

Johnson’s Corollary to Godwin’s Law, as applied to Warhol’s
    Proposition:

“In the future, everyone will be Hitler for 15 minutes”

P.S. BTW, that above list of “left wing nut cases” (commonly referred to as “Moonbats” — anyone on the pejorative right is a “Wingnut” heh.) should not, by any means, be considered even to scratch the surface.

Not only are there many other outright lies, there are a number of lies-of-omission, instances where they do everything possible to obscure the truth about something, even (or particularly) when they know it to be false:

For example, it’s really interesting, considering the level of corruption involved (10s of BILLIONS!), and the people who were victimized (poor Iraqis), how the whole UN Oil-for-Food scam gets barely a mention once in a while, while Abu Ghirab, the “Gitmo Gulag” and Plamegate, each truly non-stories, can’t disappear from the front pages.

See how widespread this story becomes:
Annan’s brother in oil scandal inquiry

Then there’s the Air America financing scandal, wherein $875,000 in taxpayer-funded community center grants for children instead went to the liberal radio network.

Nary a peep on that one, either.

    Hey, look!! Valerie Plame!!
pay no attention to those frauds behind the curtain!

  10. 10Frankman

They killed her son. She’s against the war.
    What’s so complicated to understand?

    You say she’s embracing lies.
What do you call the whole WMD charade?

People are dying by the truckloads and you guys are furious because this woman wants it to stop?

And if you think this war isn’t about oil…. well, that is an opinion. The oil is being pumped and it’s being used to pay for the “reconstruction” via no-bid contracts to american companies. That is a fact.
