Well it looks like the Loony Left has set their attack dog, the New York Slimes on John Roberts. According to Drudge here, they are now going after him as a parent.

The New York Slimes is going to “investigate” the adoptions of Mr. and Mrs. Roberts children. They are doing this, they say, because “A … look into the adoption papers are part of the paper’s “standard background check.”

Since when does the New York Slimes have anything to do with a background check on a judicial nominee? Last time I checked, they New York Slimes doesn’t even have a vote about Judge Roberts.

No, this is simply another attack against the Bush Administration and the man President Bush has nominated to the highest court of the land.

The New York Slimes has every right to report news, but then remember they are the people that had Jayson Blair on their payroll. Do they really think that we are going to a) believe anything they write about Judge Roberts, and b) are so stupid as to think they would conduct a “fair” investigation? Hell no. The New York Slimes is nothing more than the print media mouth piece for the Loony Liberal left. Nothing more.

Update Britt is reporting on Fox just now that he has told by at least one attorney that they were approached by the New York Slimes and asked to help get into the sealed adoption records. Slime Slime Slime!
