Blog Roll
I have a fairly small blog roll, and two extras in my SIDE DISHES pages for Blogs-About Hosting and Stop the ACLU.
What I want to know is how often do other blog owners actually check the links on their blog rolls? I mean click on the link and see what is going on at the blog you put there?
I try and check mine on the right at least once a day.
I’m just curious.

About a year ago for the larger link list. Most of the sites are on my favorites. In addition, I use “pluck” with my firefox browser to see rss feeds.

I try to check daily Jo, but I’m getting to the point that it’s almost impossible to do. I may have to split my efforts.

I do check my “paint well” and “read often” blogrolls every day. I try to do it a couple of times a day, because it doesn’t seem that blogrolling likes to consistently indicate when they’ve been updated.
On busier days, I may go a couple of days without reading. If I stop reading them completely I remove them, that keeps my blogroll “readable” for me.

I usually get through my whole list every couple of days. Some of the blogs are for certain moods, though.

Have you SEEN my blogrolls?
I couldn’t check them ALL if I read 24 hours a day…but I did grab all the ones in my top 2 blogrolls and ram them into a feedburner so I can read them all through a newsreader. I don’t get to all of them every day, but usually every 2 days or so.
