I have always avoided these sort of blog questionnaires… but as they go, this one seems relatively harmless and with some good questions.
This is my first time so… please be gentle with me.
1. Currently? None, but I just finished rereading “Fatherland†by Robert Harris.
2. Yes. Experienced the loss and then moved on. Yes, because I like the company of critters.
3. Currently, no. But there are a number of us (including yours truly) who have served. I also have 2 boys (1 natural, 1 adopted) of prime draft age… one is in college, the other working as an asst. manager for a local grocery store.
4. Back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth, I had a number of girlfriends and was always open about it. As a teenager, I had the same gift of doublespeak that all kids do. Prying was an exercise in futility.
5. A rat terrier named Indian. She and I took up together as a team once when I was a runaway from home and living in a public park in Savannah, Ga. She was smart, loyal and always by my side. When I got my head screwed back on and came home, she came with me.
6. Yes, more than once too.
7. I have several… writing, reading, music, old movies, playing with web graphics, football.
