This will be the last update. I just took a picture of the rain and uploaded to the Flicker set.

Had a nice nap. Woke up to it still raining, steadily, and slight gusty winds. Ivan threw more of a fit than this last year. We are under tornado watches and severe thunderstorm watches. Dennis is headed toward the western part of Alabama, so we are just getting the outer bands. Electricity is still on (duh), cable, and DSL. I think we are throug the worst of it for us here in our area.

Winds are picking up now, rain is still coming down, but doesn’t feel like a hurricane … yet. Dennis has made landfall in Flordia and has been down graded to a Cat 3 from Fox News and the Weather Channel.

The CSM is down for a nap, it’s raining, but the wind is still minor. Think I’ll take a nap too.

Still here — still have power, cable and DSL. Rainy and overcast – wind is barely blowing. Still watching the idiots out there reporting it all from the Weather Channel and Fox News.

Still watching the idiots on the news standing in the pounding rain and complaining about getting water in their mouths while they’re talking. DUH!! It’s lightened up some since I took the pictures at 10:30 below .. next band shortly though! Pictures have been updated too btw.

These talking heads are having way too much fun talking about this storm.

Glad to see that all seems well…I’ve got to check the path this morning and see if it’s headed my way. Cindy gave us enough of a headache!

We got lucky in Mobile too, thank God. My wife tells me we didn’t even lose power. That is a first.
