Anyone that has been through Fort Benning, Georgia calls the statue out front of Infantry Hall Iron Mike, but actually is called “Follow Me.” The real Iron Mike is at Fort Bragg, NC. I took a picture of him when I was at the 29th Regiment Change of Command today.

Went to the 29th Infantry Regimental Change of Command on Fort Benning, GA this morning. I hope to have some pictures up later in the week on it. If you’ve never seen a military changing of commanders, it was wonderful and full of history.
1. Basil’s Cousin Red has a say about the redecorating going on here.
2. Obesity Takes Heavy Toll on Military (Do more PT folks!)
3. No more breast exams for me!
4. More slow walking could help out those in #2 above.
