I think I have probably purchased about a half-a-dozen electronic gizmos over the last five or so years that promised rebates. Most of them came from Circuit City. Each time, we filled out the required paperwork, made sure we included the obligatory proof of purchase and in some cases, completed little questionaires that asked us things like - What is you household income? -  How many younguns do are you feeding each night?, etc. But never have we ever once recieved the actual rebate. Not a check, not a coupon, not a doggone thing. Followups to both Circuit City and the various manufacturers were fruitless because each referred us back to the other for answers.

I hope you have better luck at it but personally, I don&#039;t even consider rebates when I make a purchase anymore unless they are the &#039;instant&#039; type that you get when you check out.
