ACLU sues to stop graduation prayer
PITTSBURGH - The American Civil Liberties Union sued in federal court Thursday to prevent prayer at a high school graduation ceremony Saturday, and a judge signed a negotiated agreement upholding the ban.
The Keystone School District’s school board and solicitor had agreed to the prayer ban on Monday, but the ACLU sued because some in the Clarion County community were hoping school officials would allow prayer anyway, said Witold “Vic” Walczak, legal director of the group’s Pittsburgh chapter.
“When public schools reserve time at a graduation ceremony for prayers, they violate the Constitution by putting the power, prestige and endorsement of the state behind whatever prayer is offered,” Walczak said.
Slowly but surely this Hate America group is trying to remove religion from everything in our lives. Sure, it’s okay for the US Military to allow terrorists to pray in Getmo, but god help you if a child in an American school is allowed to pray before a graduation.

ACLU Thought Police
It seems that destroying “actual” prayer at school is just not enough for the ACLU’s appetite! They have now extended their lawsuits to “hoping” prayer can take place. Seems they want to extend their role to being America’s thought police! Be car…
I just saw on the news last night that out in California they are trying to pass it to where ALL principals of schools in a certain community (can’t think of the name of it right now) will be required to speak SPANISH.
Foreign speaking parents are complaining of “lack of communication” because the principal and teachers cannot speak spanish to their children, or to the parents.
I think they have it backwards wouldn’t ya say? I don’t know.
Well that’s just the liberals way of destroying America. I can understand if the school was geared toward all Spanish speaking children, helping them learn English and about living in America. You’d need both then. When we lived in Texas, people were paid more if they had both languages - which I didn’t think was fair either.
