Today was the day I tried again to pass the first of three tests for my designation of Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). This is:
Professional designation earned after the successful completion of three national examinations given by the insurance institute of America (IIA). Covers such areas of expertise as insurance production; multiple-lines insurance production; and agency operations and sales management.
I PASSED!! The first time I took it I wasn’t ready. It made me feel so good to have accomplished this.
Second great thing today was my doctor’s appointment to check on my diabetes progress. I started out this morning with a waking reading of 133 and it was a 153 when I hit the doctor’s office at 4 pm. No — this is not normal — but it’s progress for me having been recently diagnosed in Dec with a 447!! My doctor was very pleased and suggested I go ahead and call the surgeon about getting my non-functioning, painful gall bladder removed. I will be shooting for this sometime in July after my co-worker comes back from maternity leave.
Then the 1SG took me out to supper to Cracker Barrel and then a nice long stroll around the sub-division.
What a great day!
