Oooh La La
We got us one of them fancy smancy HUGE flat screen TVs yesterday for our anniversary.
It’s a Philips 32PT9100D/37 32″ Integrated HDTV
Let me tell you, this thing is HEAVY. Hubby does not have a really good back (has come from years of jumping out of perfectly good airplanes), so we got someone at SAMs to help us load it in the Jeep.
Okay – that’s the first hurdle over with. Next is getting it “out” of the Jeep, through 2 too small door frames and then ONto the entertainment center. Lordie am I glad no one had a camera on this comic duo last night. We finally ended up taking it out of the box in the garage, then sliding it on the floor, using the box that was left, into the living room. Then comes the next part. How do you get the dang thing from the floor up about 3 feet to the entertainment center. Okay — wait .. shouldn’t we measure the space and see if the stupid thing is going to fit first? (Yes I broke my first rule of buying something, but oh well — was too late now).
We ended up putting it on the coffee table, which is about half the height of the entertainment center. We then took a break because I got terrified I was going to drop it. But finally we got it up on the entertainment center. Did I mention this thing is HUGE :? The digital cable box shelve had to be moved up 3 spaces and the DVD players is under it inside the cabinet.
But let me tell you something guys and gals — if you have haven’t invested in a flat screen/panel TV yet — start saving up the pennies .. it was worth every penny and sweat gland burned out.
We sat down and watch Oceans 12 (which sucked to high heaven btw).

Cool! We have a 30″ HDTV. It’s not a flat screen, but the high definition is great all on its own. I love it!
