Jo’s Cafe

We are still fighting with him on the eating situation. Somethings stay down, somethings don’t. We’ve cleaned the carpet in the living & bedroom three (3) times this week alone. I went to PetSmart yesterday and picked up some small cans of Science Diet soft dog food. I did have to feed it to him by hand (a tad bit on the messy side) but he ate half a can when I got home. Then I waited about 4 hours to see if he would keep it down. He did thankfully. I gave him the rest of it before bedtime and had no messes to clean up when we got up this morning. This morning he ate a whole can (I bought the smaller cans, not the big ones) and no problems. Keeping out fingers crossed on this event.

The radiation wounds are starting to heal up. He looks like an alien though with the nasty scabbing going on. Otis keeps trying to clean him up, and he’s knocking the scabs off and it’s hurting Bubba. Hubby is taking some time off at the end of the month, so going to get Bubba into see our Vet and get an opinion on how he’s doing.

Ready to have him back 100% I can tell you that. Thankfully the drooling is slowing down.
