Girl Stuff

I want to tell you about a company called Philosophy. They produce personal care products, ie: cleansers, shampoos, fragrances, etc. I have been using Philosophy products for over a year now.

I started out with their face cleanser called Purity. I have oily skin and have fought it for years, but Purity has changed my cleansing routine. It’s cleanser and toner in one. No need of 2 products to clean your skin.

My skin always feels really clean and you can use it to take off the most gawd awful stuff you put on your face, and even your eye makeup! It won’t hurt your eyes if you accidently get some in your eyes.

I then use their moisturizer called Hope in a Jar. I have noticed a big difference in how my skin feels and looks since switching to Hope in a Jar. My face doesn’t break out as badly as normal.

I also use their fragrance called Amazing Grace.

I use to use a sharper product from Avon, which as I got older just didn’t cut it for me anymore. I didn’t want my fragrance to be the kind that chokes people when I walk in a room and stay there lingering like bad foot odor after I leave. This stuff is fresh smelling and not overpouring at all. I have this fragrance in the spray and body lotion. It’s wonderfully fresh and I have received many compliments on it.

Hubby uses their shaving gel after shaving lotion treatment. They are called Razor Sharp and The Afterglow respectively and can be seen on their website here.

As you look through their website, yes, the prices are high - but I believe after a year, it’s worth it. I buy from both the website and from QVC.

If you ever get a chance to try their products, I would recommend them.

  1. My favorite is the shampoo/shower gel…strawberry milkshake is the best! And yes, it’s pricey but oh well.
