Bubba won’t eat.
When he first got home last Friday night, he ate a whole pouch of soft dog food. Saturday he ate 3 times, each time a soft dog food pouch. Then starting on Sunday, he started turning his nose up to it.
It’s been a battle the last three days to get him to eat anything. … and now Otis has decided he doesn’t want to eat either. Hubby says just put his food out and eventually he will. He did eat most of his bowl this morning. I have scrambled up an egg and ground up some hard dog food and put it in there for Bubba. I will put that in his crate and see if he will eat any of it today.
Bubba is drinking water though, and will take a hot dog now and again — but he really needs to be eating more I think.
His mouth looks raw though. Red and his hair is falling out. This might be an after effect of the radiation - just not sure. Going to have to do a net search on it, and if all else fails, I will call our vet and see what he suggests.
