Spoke to the surgeon last night and we are scheduling radiation treatment for Bubba starting next week. He will have to have 3 treatments a week, for 3 weeks. Since we are so far away from Auburn, logistically we are unable to take him up there on the days he has to have the treatments, so he will be staying there during the week. We are going to be able to go get him over the weekends, which to me is a blessing, and should help him get through this next phase.

The doctor gives us only 18 months max that this will sustain Bubba’s life, but it’s 18 months we wouldn’t have - and who knows, god may decide we get to keep him longer - or shorter, it’s up to her.
