Bubba in Auburn

Jo -

Bubba was dropped off yesterday morning to start his radiation treatments. Little stinker wrapped his front legs around one of mine before I left. I’m sure he’s okay - but he likes to do that kind of stuff with me cause he knows it breaks my heart. But this time, I know this is for [...]

Otis LOL

Jo -

Otis loves laying on his back and kicking his back legs up in the air while snapping at them with his mouth. For the last few months I have been trying to catch him in the act. FINALLY - caught him last night.

Hubby took Bubba up to Auburn yesterday for his radiation treatments to start. The appointment was at 8 - and it was a drop off only, with us picking him up on Friday evening.
He sat there for 2 1/2 hours before he finally told them he was leaving, he had to get to work. [...]

I noticed children waiting for the buses [...]

He didn’t restitch it, but gave us some surgical scrub [...]

Update

Jo -

Bubba is coming along well. His stitches are loosing up because all the swelling has gone down and he’s caught a couple of them with his claws when scratching. We are taking more and more water out of his soft dog food and he’s having no problems inhaling it. It may be a few more [...]

Bubba - Day after Surgery

Jo -

Talked to the Vet Assistant this afternoon at lunch time, and he stated that Bubba had eaten some food. Good boy!!! Once he completes this last round of IV pain killers (Morphine for dogs — Lucky Dog), then he will be moved out of ICU into a regular ward.
Once off the pain killers, if he [...]
