Comment Policy & Disclaimer

I lot of this is thanks to Beth at MVRWC. Thank you.

Comments
Since this is “my” blog, paid for by “my” funds, I have the right to put on here anything I want. I can talk about anything I want and refuse to talk about other stuff.

If you don’t like something I write, okay – that’s fine. We are human and have that right. So tell me about it. But don’t simply say, “Fuck you Republican Bitch,” because:

1: A comment like that flies over to the moderation Que.
2: A comment like that has no solid basis for being said.
3: A comment like that doesn’t show your side of the situation
4: A comment like that will be DELETED without a 2nd thought.

Anonymous posters get the same treatment. If you don’t have a blog, leave the URL blank – don’t make up something to boost your importance in your own mind.  Use a valid e-mail address.  I have Spam Poison here to protect your precious e-mail address; and please don’t try and feed me a line that you only have one e-mail address. I don’t know anyone that hasn’t been on the internet for, oh say 3 days, that doesn’t have at least two. And all bloggers have a throw-away one for certain things. If you want a throw-away e-mail account, go to find a free one; they are everywhere on the net.

Quoted directly from Beth because I couldn’t say it any better:

Any one who cries about “censorship” should go file a complaint with someone who gives a shit, because it IS my bandwidth. “Censorship!” screechers will be banned because I don’t like crybabies or morons.

Amen sister – same applies here at the Cafe.

Trackbacks

I really appreciate trackbacks, it means someone is really out there reading what I put here and thought enough of it to mention it on their blog. BUT – don’t link to my Anti-ACLU posts to your “I’m coming out of the closet” post because the fracking two don’t match. Please be careful and trackback to the right post and at least have your post say something similar to the one I posted. Unrelated trackbacks will be summarily deleted on the spot.

The ONLY time this will not come into play is when I do an open trackback post. Then you can link back to your “I’m sick and coming out of the closet” post.

And don’t EVEN think about trying to trackback spam this site. It’s protected.

Now, if you don’t know how to trackback, go here and here to and learn. It’s very easy really. If done correctly and well, it’s great advertising for a new blog that wants to get traffic directed to them.
