Have you finished scratching off the names on your Christmas list?  The SGM(r) got his in the mail the other day and already used it to nail two deer into the processor!  He got a range finder.  Please don’t ask me to explain, its a grunt/man/hunter thing.

McDonalds has decided to take on Starbucks with a new billboard ad against the $4 cup of coffee.  Loving it!  We have a Starbucks across from a McDonalds where I work and trust me, I’ve never darkened the door or drive-thru of the Starbucks.  If I want a good cup of coffee away from home, I go to McDonalds. 

Going to move on and start my weekend.  Got the gym, beauty shop and eye exam to start it off here.

So – I started going back to the gym this week.  What did you start new?  This is so hard too.  I want to go every day and just melt these pounds off, but too much too soon is not the way.  I know that, but … you couldn’t tell the skinny person in me that!  When I hit the gym the second night, my legs start talking to me before I got on the treadmill.  Don’t Do That!  Did I listen?  Nope.  Five minutes later my thighs are screaming at me GET OFF NOW!!!  I moved to the bike and they stopped yelling at me and I was able to do a couple miles before heading home.   Yup, this is going to be a toughie, but I’m going to stick it out. Thanks for the encouragement Sean and Stacy!

So OJ finally gets to the see the inside of a prison cell and life without 300 thread count sheets. Excuse me while I laugh so damn hard my sides hurt . Okay, God will probably not like that too much, but I believe in karma. What you do, good or evil, comes back to you in threes. OJ, you can run from karma, but it’ll sneak up on your ass in the end.

The “big three” auto company CEOs went to Washington hat in hand begging for more tax payers dollars to prop up bloated companies that make cars too expensive for the average American to purchase so they can make more expensive cars.  GM is talking about selling off the Saturn division, of which I own a VUE, and other concessions, but the one I didn’t hear them make was to fire all the top brass and bring in a hired gun to clean up the whole mess.  I don’t believe the naysayers who tout that if the big three failed it would crash our economy.  How many times have you flown on an airline that filed for bankruptcy?  See, the reason those in Washington don’t want the big three to file for Chapter 11reconstruction is because then the UAW’s contracts, the bloat attached to the price of all cars made by the big three, could be renegotiated, and we know how much in bed with the unions the liberals in Washington are.  That’s the reason period.

Did you all heard about the dog in Chile that saved its buddy dog by dragging it to safety?  I can’t watch the whole thing as it makes my heart hurt, but I heard on Fox N Friends both dogs were okay.

Well that’s about it for me this weekend.   Have plans to hit that gym again, catch up on some work (overtime) and maybe get the Christmas decorations out.  We’ll see.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the awful news about the crowds by now, which seems to get worse each year.  Sean P has a great post about his feelings, which pretty much mirrors mine on the Black Friday madness.  There is nothing out there to lose your life for.   The stores are just as responsible as the people are.  (Yes Virginia there are incidents where the store has nothing to do with the events, don’t blow a casket.)  Christmas is the time to celebrate Christ’s birth, not the latest Wii game.

Would somebody please explain to me just where  the Office of the President-Elect is?  I don’t recall Bush or Clinton having one.  I also don’t remember either of them giving weekly radio addresses?  Can there be more arrogance in one person than Barry O?  BTW, he’s Senator Obama.  That is his official title until January.  These people calling him President Elect Obama make me want to vomit!   Oh and don’t give me this crap about the economic situation calls for it, blah blah blah.  George W Bush is still the President of the United States – no matter what some people want or believe – so get over it and stop trying to shove your empty suit on me any sooner than is necessary.

While searching for references in my above paragraphs, I ran into something that just rubs me the wrong way.   Long Post Titles that are also the post slugs.  According to ProBlogger post titles shouldn’t be too long as “This is good for readers but also search engines (they will only show 65 or so characters so if you go too long your full title doesn’t appear in search results).“  Now yes, his blog post slug is long, but come on people, if the post title is three paragraphs long, can you shorten up the slug a bit?  Just one of those things. 

Now this is just beyond wrong and if someone isn’t brought to task for it, the chief needs to resign.

Raise your hand if you watched Rosie’s new variety show the other night.  (looks around).  Me either.  Sometimes I wonder if Rosie isn’t Chris Matthews in drag.

Speaking of Blackberry, have you seen the ads for the new Storm?  WOW!  I was impressed with the iPhone when it came out, but not being an Apple person, other than my iPod, and not an AT&T wireless fan, I stayed with Blackberry.  Now my fingers are itching like mad to get my hands on one.  BUT – like anything new, I’ll wait until all the bugs are worked out first.  To some of the folks on Crackberry.com and Blackberryforums.com, they aren’t too impressed right now.

You recall all the times that Barry O preached to his flock that John McCain was a “third Bush term” and now we as starting to see a “third Clinton term” appear right before our eyes.  Come on Barry – I thought you were all about “change we can believe in“.   Yeah right – change back, not forward.

Have you seen the new themes for Gmail? WOW!  Talk about nice.  I don’t use my Gmail for much but a storage area and other things on Google, but even though the themes are nice … be very, very careful what you keep out there, or use it for.

“24″ Fans … don’t forget this Sunday night we get two hours of Jack and the Manbag of Death!  Woohoo!

Speaking of favorite television shows, we only have three more episodes of Stargate Atlantis left (sob).  Battlestar will be back January 16 to finish out it’s shortened run, and then (sigh) nothing.  Nothing until Doctor Who dribs and drops its shortened ’09 season.  I swear, good TV watching is just falling by the way side.  Boston Legal has become so radical lately I can’t even stomach to watch it anymore.  I have started re-watching “The Unit” but at least this year Tiffy isn’t doing the colonel anymore.

Now … you low-life, chimps who are hiding behind the moniker of “anonymous sources inside the McCain campaign” who are attacking Sarah Palin with unproven, documented smears – may a thousand fleas infest your armpits at midnight.  SHUT UP or dish the proof.  And you Carl Camron from Fox News — if I remember correctly, you are the one that tried to derail the Bush presidency by reporting on the old DUI charge too.  So you gleefully report on the smear remarks without naming names, you are just as guilty as they are.  Be a back-boned reporter and give us the names, or shut up.  I hope Greta gets you in the broom closet and dresses you down.

John McCain wasn’t picked by our side, but by the media.  A well organized campaign was waged with the media’s help against us.  This will continue.  (I ask those at Fox News to hold on tight, because you will be the only on-air source for the truth.)  We must start planning now for 2010, and then 2012.  After four years of failed economic policies by president obama, this country will be in such a mess that one strong voice supported by many will be able to take back the reins in Washington and restore this country to greatness.   Remember what Joe Biden said? “Gird Your Loins”

I understand the jobless rate has hit a “14 year high“.  Well, why are you so worried about it?  According to Peggy the Moocher, you won’t have to wait long for help.  Starting January 21, 2009, president obama will “fill your gas tank and pay your mortgage” for you.   Just sit tight and a little green truck will come by and fill your pantry with groceries too!   If you’re out of work now and need a job, sit tight.  Once all the Peggy the Moocher’s quit their jobs in January to live on the obama dole, you will have your choice of jobs to pick from!  Happy Days will be here again! (Yes, I choked on that statement, brb  – need to go throw up).

Enough.  I’m going to just stop or this post could go on for pages and pages.  I’m still fighting a cold that blasted me out of no-where, so cranky is the word for the day.

Okay enough self-promotion (snicker).   Two posts down I made a statement that I’m starting to hear thundering from around me.  We who are not choosing to lemmie vote for Obama ARE NOT RACIST!!!  I wasn’t going to vote for Hillary either, does that make me – a woman – sexist?  You liberals really need to get a grip.  We don’t like your guy for more reasons than the color of his skin – might have something to do with a few terrorists supporting him (Hamas for one) or other radical ideas that would make Hitler smile.

Playfirst has released “Fashion Dash“.  The newest version of the games that sprung from “Diner Dash“.  I haven’t finished it yet – heck I haven’t beaten at an expert level Wedding Dash 2 yet – but I will.  I have faith!

The SGM(r) and I have gotten hooked on Who!  Doctor Who actually and the new version.   Thank you Netflix we are catching up.  Almost through Season 2.  Its hard to find good sci fi anymore.  Battlestar and Stargate excluded.  Torchwood won’t be back until next year and then only five shows – slim pickens out there!

I’m missing Laura Ingraham on the radio — and if you are too (no matter the reason) — then think what its going to be like out here in the wilderness if the Fairness Doctrine gets re-established.  Yes Ladies and Gentleman, once again the Liberals (who couldn’t keep a radio program on air without support from George Sorus) are trying to push this communist piece of legislation through again.   They want to control the radio air waves – because they can’t.  Sure, they have 99% of the print and television media, but they don’t have the radio or internet — YET!  Folks, if they get the Fairness Doctrine pushed through again … next will be the internet, then your text messages … they will shut down freedom of speech and expression at every level.  THEY will control your listening life.   Sieg Heil!

Good Morning Everyone!  Wow – what a week we had around here didn’t we?  Obama is crowned the delegate-elect for the liberal / socialist party.  Her Thighness has been sent packing.  (snort)   Actually, I’m more terrified of him than I am of her.  To that end, the NO!!! Hillary graphic has been put into mothballs … until 2012.  If I’m still blogging then, I may have to bring it back out.

I found out something really odd this week. Since visiting the foot doctor and being able to walk again for exercise — I’m hungry.  Let me explain.  For a long time now, food has to eat to keep my stomach from getting upset when taking my medications or to keep my sugar up.  Now all of a sudden my stomach is making all these weird noises and its painful!  Do I sound sick?  Yeah, I know.  But being able to walk again has kick started my body into eating up all the fat I have stored and it wants more.  Tsk Tsk … NOT!  But I am feeling better and I know its good for me.

The SGM made it back from his turn-around trip to Fort Sill. He was reminded of the weather in that part of the country and how flat some parts of it there are.  “Hotter than Texas”, he said.  Yuck!  But for a trip I think he was dreading, he sounded alive whenever I talked to him.  Of course, you put a 23+ year Army veteran in a room full of other long-term active duty and retired people, they’re bound to know a few people.   Some were surprised to see he’s retired, others were just glad to see he’s still in the mix of training troops. A good time was had.

I’m working on a new theme.  I’ve let Tre see it and if you happened to be around the other day when I let it go live for her, you might have saw it too.   There are some adjustments I’m making and tweaking for me – but its the Cutline theme and I love it!

And here we are finally to the end of the week! The SGM had a birthday yesterday and I ran out Tuesday to buy him a Wii … and the store was empty Got him new luggage instead. He’s off to Oklahoma to some conference for 3 days next week. Maybe I can find him a Wii with a shooting / hunting game while he’s gone.

I’ve been enjoying being able to go walking again since my foot doctor’s visit.  No, not all is well in tootsie land, but its much better.   I see arch supports in my future.   I heard on the radio Thursday morning a story about the wearing of flip-flips and the damage that can be done to ones feet and legs.  Evidently one changes the way they walk because of no support in the flip-flops, which can lead to major issues.  Flip-flops are for around the house and in the shower – no matter how prettied up they are.   I prefer my Birkies – no matter how ugly.

Smashing Magazine has its June computer calendar wallpapers up for the taking.  I found these about three months ago and change them out at work.  There sure are some talented people out there.    

So we have another preacher in B. Hussein Obama’s church talking the truth.   Yes – the truth.  Hillary believes that she is owed the Whitehouse because of the years spent smiling while Bill was playing.  I don’t believe she deserves it because she’s white, but either way she thinks she’s owed.  Why is anyone shocked?  Its time the veil is pulled aside and the innards brought to bare.   Problem is, he left out the fact that B. Hussein Obama believes he’s owed it only because he’s black.   Tit for Tat
