Jo's Cafe

The word for the week is “termites“.  We are having repair work done on the house and when the fellows pulled the nasty wood off the garage door frame, there were the little buggers.  The SGM called several bug killers in the area and Terminix was the first to call back, so they got the job and the contract.  He said we caught them early so the death of them will be swift.  There was a lot of water damage to the wood around the house because this house did not have gutters.  To that end, we have since put gutters on and now are getting the damage repaired.  Good thing uh?  There is a lot, but worth it in the end.

So how was your week?  Mine was fine.  Cassie girl got her clean bill of health from the vet.  No more heart worms!  Then the last couple of days upset her with all the strangers around the house and the noise.  Poor thing.  Roscoe of course took it in stride and just barked at them.  She got an upset tummy. 

Had a little incident at the job this week that when it was over I laughed my ass off.  Someone asked me about Obama care.   I quoted this article and then they asked how I felt about it and I told them.   One of the Obamabots heard me and went running like a baby to another co-worker.  They called the one I was talking to into another co-workers office (why do Obamabots run in packs like rabid dogs?) and started telling her I was a liar!!  Of course she told me later she didn’t believe them and was going to do more research on Obamacare.  Obamabots won’t stand up for themselves, or attack you directly face-to-face, but will run and gather a gang and then spew at you.  No backbone, just like their Dear Leader.  Very sad really, because it makes me think less of them.  All they want is “free this, free that” not realizing, nothing in life comes free.

Only got to the gym once this week, so  much deal with that and then more heavy cleaning.  What do you have planned?
