Last Saturday Dance 2008
Today is officially the last Saturday in 2008. Next time we meet here around the cafe tables, it will be 2009. Mind blowing.
Have you noticed I’ve been skipping over a lot of the hot topics of the day? On purpose. I’m burnt flat out on Kennedy and Blago. The MSM gets on a feeding frenzy and they won’t let up. This is how they got Obama elected I remind you. But, alas, it appears to be news, so even Fox News has grabbed onto the bone.
Listen folks – Kennedy has no experience but that won’t matter anymore than it mattered about Obama’s experience. As for Blago, you liberals are just pissed the stink hole Obama grew out of is not hidden from national view anymore and you don’t want the smell of that place to follow “The One“ to the Whitehouse.
“The One” also visited troops in Hawaii. They weren’t too impressed.
You know what I figured out yesterday? The spellcheck in Wordpress 2.7 doesn’t work. Just great. Back to the copy paste to Word and then back {sigh}. Love WP, but they couldn’t get that right? Geez
Io9 has posted the ”Best And Worst Science Fiction Movies Of 2008“.

Happy New Year to you and yours. Be safe. We normally don’t do a darned thing for New Year. We stay in. We are old ppl now. LOL Anyway, just wanted to comment and say hello. I look forward to reading your blog in 2009. You know, I really only pay attention to a few blogs, on a daily basis, that are in my reader. Yours is one of them. I may not comment on a regular basis but I do read!

Thanks for the notice, Jo. I’m stealing the piece that Jake Tapper did on the military’s reaction to the Obama visit. I’ve been enjoying Tapper for a while now. He seems to be a bit more objective than the rest about Obama.
I’m experiencing burn out, too. Just doing the best I can right now. We don’t do anything special for New Year’s either. My husband says too many amateurs are out that night and on the roads! I’ll have a little bubbly and call it my celebration here in my comfy chair.

I have noticed Mr. Tapper is not so in the tank for “The One” too. Hope you had a great Christmas with the family.
