Welcome to a knock-your-teeth out chattering chilly pre-turkey day Saturday.   Yeah that was a mouthful wasn’t it?  I don’t even want to know how cold it is outside.   When I put Roscoe out for his morning constitutional, I didn’t even keep the door cracked.  Trust me, he finished his “business” quickly.   This dog doesn’t like to be cold either — he’s a fireplace kind of guy.  Hubby has pictures on his cellphone I can’t get to (have no clue – Blackberry yes, Razor no), of him laying up next to the hearth chewing on his favorite tire.

Speaking of Blackberry, have you seen the ads for the new Storm?  WOW!  I was impressed with the iPhone when it came out, but not being an Apple person, other than my iPod, and not an AT&T wireless fan, I stayed with Blackberry.  Now my fingers are itching like mad to get my hands on one.  BUT – like anything new, I’ll wait until all the bugs are worked out first.  To some of the folks on Crackberry.com and Blackberryforums.com, they aren’t too impressed right now.

You recall all the times that Barry O preached to his flock that John McCain was a “third Bush term” and now we as starting to see a “third Clinton term” appear right before our eyes.  Come on Barry – I thought you were all about “change we can believe in“.   Yeah right – change back, not forward.

Have you seen the new themes for Gmail? WOW!  Talk about nice.  I don’t use my Gmail for much but a storage area and other things on Google, but even though the themes are nice … be very, very careful what you keep out there, or use it for.

“24″ Fans … don’t forget this Sunday night we get two hours of Jack and the Manbag of Death!  Woohoo!

Speaking of favorite television shows, we only have three more episodes of Stargate Atlantis left (sob).  Battlestar will be back January 16 to finish out it’s shortened run, and then (sigh) nothing.  Nothing until Doctor Who dribs and drops its shortened ’09 season.  I swear, good TV watching is just falling by the way side.  Boston Legal has become so radical lately I can’t even stomach to watch it anymore.  I have started re-watching “The Unit” but at least this year Tiffy isn’t doing the colonel anymore.
