Prop 8 Terrorism

Wednesday, 19 November 2008, 7:04

I have been watching in horror at the violent reactions to the results of the Prop 8 vote in California.

Remember the vote was “by the people” of California, but that hasn’t stopped the radical, terrorist wing of the supporters of gay marriage.

These people remind me of radical Islamic terrorists demanding the world convert to Islam or die.

In this country, we have free, honest elections (we won’t go into ACORN here) for the people to make choices for themselves. But, I don’t vote on stuff that effects people locally in California, Minnesota, or elsewhere and vice-versa. If the people in Nevada want to vote that purple dinosaurs can jay walk its their right. If I don’t like it I can not go to Nevada.

But these people aren’t going to settle on the will of the people. Oh no. They aren’t going to regroup and try again next time there’s an opportunity to get it on the ballot. They aren’t going to figure out ways to get their message out so they can win over people to their side.

No – they are going to protest: violently.

Martin Luther King taught us how to protest and it didn’t involve defacing property (video), attacking old women (video), or forcing people to leave the area.

You don’t see Republicans marching in the street because they don’t like the results of the Presidential Election do you?

Huh?

(crickets chirping)

No, Republicans respect the will of the people.  We are regrouping and working toward getting our message out in 2010.

But…Not…By…Violence!

and regarding comments… because the post is about violence, and not gay marriage, but some commenters can’t seem to understand that, comments are closed.
