Now the election is over and McCain is back in Arizona, or some late night talk show, and Sarah is still fighting a battle her ex-running mate won’t dip into, I have something to say to him:

Follow in the footsteps of your buddy Joe Lieberman – just go Independent.  

I got so sick of hearing you say, “I fought against my party,” during the campaign.  If you’ve had to fight your own party so much and it was the one thing you could run for president on – change parties.

You were not my first choice for president, not my second either – but I was stuck with you.  Even when Palin came on board, I still knew that sticking to your principles wasn’t going win you this election.  You played nice too long and look where it got you.

Sure, you may have done the right things for this country if elected, BHO might too (choked on that).  But I  hardly was thrilled enough about you to put a sign in my front yard or chance damage to my truck with a bumper sticker.

John, go back to Arizona and re-think the direction you’ve been going for years.  Call up Joe and discuss the issues, pro and con, of being an independent.   Stop trying to portray yourself as a Republican.   The curtain is open and the Wizard is revealed.
