I am really surprised that the GOP chose not to apply the issue of illegal immigration in a more forceful manner. The Dems would, if given the chance, offer an across the table amnesty to every illegal in the country. We the people are dead set against this in a fairly good majority… so if it had been applied to the conversation, it may have opened some eyes to the danger of an Obama win.

Probably because McCain was in support of the last major amnesty bill … but, he wasn’t for drivers’ licenses or the right for them to vote.
