I heard some guy call the Bill Bennett show this morning and claim he’s just ALL upset by Sarah Palin, how could she have accepted the VP nod with a 4-month old and a pregnant teenager, and if HE were her husband, boy he would have just wanted her to refuse, and he just wasn’t sure he could vote for McCain now, how could McCain do this…..Bennett said it might be a “legitimate question” and asked his guest at the time to comment on it.

It is NOT A DAMN LEGITIMATE QUESTION. NOT FOR US.

It was a legitimate question for Todd and Sarah Palin to ask each other. It was a legitimate question for them to discuss with their children and immediate family members who would be impacted. They had that conversation and decided they could handle it, and that should be the end of it!!

It doesn’t matter what YOU would do, what your thoughts are, what neighbors you have with pregnant teens or Downs Syndrome babies and oh how hard their lives are. YOU cannot know the intimate details of the Palin family and what they can and can’t handle. You need to trust that the Palin family is made up of reasonable adults who discussed the issue, weighed the options, risks and hardships, and made an adult decision.

If it was Todd Palin who was governor of Alaska and the VP nominee, no one would even be asking about this. This is blatant sexism, and I’m livid about it.
