The Sky is Falling
There is a Republican in the Whitehouse.
There is a centrist running for office.
There is a communist running for office.
There are two wars in the Middle East we are winning.
Gas prices are up.
The democrats have done nothing about gas prices.
The republicans can’t do anything about gas prices without the democrats.
Unemployment figures are down.
Houses are going into foreclosure.
There is a glut of houses on the market and people are snapping up good real estate investments.
My 401(k) made money.
Hubby’s 401(k) made money.
Our electric bill went up.
We bought a brand new Flat Panel TV.
Some ex-model married a pervert and its all over the news.
… and the cow jumped over the moon because the sky is falling.

Rumor has it that those flat panel TVs will use only about 1/3 the electricity as the older CRT sets. .. not to mention having an absolutely crystal clear picture.
I have one on my Christmas wish list for this year already

I would love to comment on gas prices.. France can build a nuclear power plant in 5 years.. Why don’t we? If we started now, it would overwhelmingly decrease our oil consumption. Combine that with offshore drilling, wind power, tide power, and increased EPA requirements on new automobiles along with new technology that enabled hybrids to achieve a consistent 80+ MPG.. Who is worried?
