Jo,

I listed some things on my post today that we might see should BHO become the president in '09. (Go check it out here.) It will be a travesty, for sure. I hope my faith in the American people can be restored and I hope people will stand behind McCain.

Yup, from what I've been seeing on the news from this past weekends rules meeting and other statements on the internet -- McCain could very will grab some voters away from the dems. (crossing fingers)

Methinks Hillary is going to go to Denver as an active candidate and thus could well be the power broker for the entire convention. This should water down some of Hussein's rhetoric.

I also thing McCain is going to be seeing a lot of former Hillary supporters defecting to the right to continue their fight against Obama.

I agree Karen ... we have to stand behind him, like it or not. Hopefully the VP slot will be important enough to gather us all together as one.

I think if the Republicans don't completely unite behind McCain and let him continue to woo Independents, which he has to have to be elected, then we'll see the travesty of an Obama presidency. And, if McCain loses, there is no way the Republican agenda will surface for years and years. We'll be in the wilderness again for a very long time. With the numbers of Dems in the House and Senate, it'll be impossible to turn it around in just two years. Scary stuff.

My faith in the American people tells me there's no way Obama would win the election.

My realization that sometimes good people do stupid things sends shivers down my spine.

But, don't worry. If Obama is elected, the damage won't last long; the country will be destroyed well before his term is up.
