No Check, but we Stimulated
Boy did the SGM and I add to the economy on Tuesday.
First – I went to the foot doctor. After a thorough examination I find out I have a wide foot, I wiggle my toes back and forth when I walk and my numbness is from support issues, not the diabetes. Yeah!! The fix? New Balance walking shoes in a wide width and a mild support of the arch closest to my toes.
Then at lunch time, the SGM met me at the local appliance store and purchased a new dishwasher. We found one we liked at Lowe’s Sunday, but they didn’t have white in stock and the guy helping us was clueless on a date it could come in. They had the same brand, but the level of decibels are lower (which means less noise) than the first one we found. Bonus. No white one in stock, but has been ordered, will be in on Tuesday, delivered and installed on Wed. Cha ching.
After we parted at the front of the store, he went suit shopping at Jos A. Bank and I went and got the New Balance walking shoes. Cha cha cha ching!!!
But you know what? Its our money. We earned it. We support ourselves and the care of my feet is priceless, hubby’s needs for his new job are priceless and a new dishwasher that doesn’t clunk, clang and boom is priceless.
So … how much did you stimulate the economy lately?

Well, let’s see. Yesterday I went to the salon and had my hair cut, colored and styled and purchased their excellent pricey shampoo and conditioner. Then today I went back and had my pedicure and my son’s hair cut and styled. We had to clean up for his high school graduation this weekend!
The husband purchased some pricey but quite efficient spyware for his computer 2 days ago.
And, of course, the grocery store.
Doing our part!

Nothing better than a pedicure. Time for me to get one too. We are getting a stimulas check, just not until June. See we had to pay taxes this year, so ours is coming by the US Mule.
