Would Obama pull out of Korea, Germany and Japan Too?
Obama and “Her Thighness” have been twisting John McCain’s words towards troops in Iraq since he made the comment about “100 years”.
But … Obama also said this:
“We’ve been in South Korea for 50 years. And he’s used that as an example, asGeorge Bush has, and that is decades,” said Obama. “That’s something that the United States can’t afford, and I think that’s going to be a debate that we’re going to have in the general election, should I be the nominee.”
Guess its my time to start twisting?
We’ve had a presence in Germany, Korea and Japan for over 50 years respectively. According to Obama “decades” is too long to even think about being in Iraq, so does that mean its too long for our soldiers to have been in these other countries too?
Does than mean he not only plans to pull out of Iraq should (God forbid) he win the Whitehouse, but those countries also?
Think about it a second and chew on it a bit.
If 50 or 100 years of our soldiers in a stabalizing force inside of an allied country is too long, then we should start drawing out of those three ASAP!!!
Oh wait you say, he just means Iraq.
What’s the difference?
Hmmm…

No, he probably won’t. But he certainly should. It’s time for America to end it’s imperialistic military presence around the world. It’s a waste of money and resources! Ron Paul was 100% right on that one. Plus I think you are confusing situations here. We won WW II & Korea. We are not winning in Iraq. That area will never be “settled” in the same way. They do not want us there.
