Week END Wrap
Welcome to the Weekend!! I went from having a fire in the fireplace earlier in the week to needing the air conditioner on in the truck these past two days coming home from work. Gotta love living in the south.
American Conservative Daily is spidering the posts from this site now. Thank you for the invite and I’m honored you think anything is good enough on this site to show off to others. Grab their RSS - it’s good reading.
Columbus is recovering from the tragedy Thursday. Why anyone around here believes that a community of this size won’t have something like this happen is beyond me. People snap and sometimes they harm others. Three people died, but it could have been more.
Alabama is moving swiftly forward on an immigration bill. Employers are going to have to demand proof of citizenship from purspective hires, and obtain documentation. Bravo !!
Does anyone have a clue why my computer all of a sudden tells me I’m offline and I need to connect to the internet, bringing up a dial-up connection? Weird
Now some noted items from my RSS reader:
- Herb Peterson, creator of the Egg McMuffin, has passed away. This sandwich is the only thing I eat from McDonald’s. He created it based on his love for eggs benedict.
- Men are rebelling in Iran.
- Tell me this is a joke!
- Leftwing Civil War by Bill O’Reilly

“Tell me this is a joke!” Nope, these folks are dead serious. Now, that DOES NOT mean that they aren’t a pack of jokers however.
After years of hypocritically claiming the news doesn’t lean left, they are trying to shut up one that does indeed lean right. The difference is of course that we admit it, they don’t.
Cheers from deeeeeeep south Texas.
