(Tre is back after a bit of a “blogger’s block” absence… )

Yeah, yeah, I know….earmarks are a minor thing, not a huge percentage of the budget, why make a big deal of it?

Well, we send representatives to Congress to represent us and our interests. One of MY interests (and likely yours too) is making sure the money the Federal government swipes from my paycheck (and it oughta be less money, but that’s another show) is spent appropriately…and NOT on stupid junk intended soley to get campaign funds or re-election.

So….if you’re interested, you can check HERE to see if your Representative has agreed to swear off earmarks. My Representative is on the list and will be getting a thank-you note from me.

Note that as of the writing of this post, there is only one democrat on the list….
