Snip, Snip
Roscoe had a major visit to the vet yesterday. Yes it was snip-snip day for the little boy. We are now home and he’s knocked out in his crate with that silly lamp shade on his head. Bubba searched for him last night and this morning and was very glad to see our little monster when we got home. No running or jumping, so he will have to spend most of the day in his crate and seperate from Bubba.

Our current vet does the surgery in the morning and then keeps the animal throughout the day and evening and lets owners get them the next morning. That means if I had gone to work, he would have stayed there until one of us got off work I couldn’t just leave him there all day – so took the day off to spend with him. Sure they would have taken care of him at the vet’s but there are some things I just need to do. When Otis and Bubba got snipped I harassed the vet’s office until they let me take them home that night. The SGM(R) was away during that time period and I just didn’t want to sleep in the house by myself.
And did I say I really did just need a day off from work? Love the job – but damn, sometimes enjoying a day doing nothing but what you want to is important.
