Yes it sounds like a line from 5th Element, but actually, Fort Benning has not added another car-wash, but a dog wash.  Yes … I said dog wash.   So its not automatic, but it appears to have some advantages over the home tub or back yard hose.

Yes, cars are being washed and so are dogs.

It’s the first “dog wash” ever to make it on a military base in the U.S.

And now wrestling to keep your pets clean at Fort Benning is something for the dogs.

“This is the pet cleaning machine that is the latest innovation from Europe, actually Spain. There are hundreds of them through out the world this is number eight in the country. And really there’s nothing out there like it today in terms of how complete it is to wash your dogs from A to Z,” says TMC Pet Vending Director, Erik MacPherson.
