Just Musing Along
Protestors got into the House hearing this week with Petraeus and Crocker … I wonder how? What horrible people they are. Heads in the sand.
From CNSNews.com
“I am anxious to be here when Petraeus gives his report because we want him to know, and we want Congress to know, and we want the American people to know that we don’t believe the rosy picture that he’s going to be painting,” Medea Benjamin, co-founder of the anti-war group Code Pink, said before the start of the joint House Foreign Affairs and Armed Service Committee hearing on Monday.
“The American people are tired of this war no matter what Petraeus says,” Benjamin said. “We want our troops to come home.”
“He can say things are getting better – if they’re getting better, then let’s leave,” she said. “He could say things are not very good, and we could say if things are not very good, then we shouldn’t be there.
“No matter what he says, our message actually reflects what the American people think, which is that we should leave,” Benjamin added.
Oh Benjamin – You.Do.Not.Speak.For.Me.
Maybe they honestly don’t want war – no one wants war duh! But sadly I think this is more about Bush Derangement Syndrome than war.
What will they do and who will they attack when Bush is gone back to Crawford?
The hatred displayed by the left against toward Bush is almost tangible. How sad to see the Democrat party being taken over by its radical side. The grand old party is being destroyed and anything of its former self is pale.
Rush was playing clips of the democrats attacking General Petraeus on his show yesterday and I had to turn the channel because I was getting upset. I flipped to Laura and she was making fun of one senator who appeared to be taking his whole 10 minutes for questions by making a statement at General Petraeus. That’s when I realized — laugh dummy, these guys are making HUGE fools out of themselves. Its not about Irag, its about them.
When I got home last night, the SGM(R) informed me that the two dems he works with watched the Britt Hume interview of the General and were highly ticked off at the way he was treated by the House members.
There is hope.

As you would guess, I saw the panels ‘questioning’ the General and Ambassador Crocker. It was Rep. Payne of NJ that was so painful to listen to. His rambling went on and on and all I could do was yell at the tv screen, “buy a vowel all ready!”. It was ridiculous.
