Four Back At You

fingerpoint.gifIt was Rove & Cheney using just hacksaws and the lights from their Blackberry’s who weakend the I35W bridge so it would collapse the next day and take the country’s eyes off Iraq, Gonzoles, etc.  And of course this was all directed  by GW Bush himself!!”   (Remember he’s so dumb that he was actually able to plan and execute the 9/11 attacks too!)

Laura Ingraham had people call in yesterday and finish the statement, “George Bush caused the I35W bridge to collapse because….”  Of course there really was some people who called in that were serious.   Big Dog has a great article explaining just how sick these people really are in their hate.

CNN Money has an article titled, “Katrinafying Minnesota’s Disaster” with these tidbits:

Now that another disaster has hit, this time in Minneapolis, the same fact-free finger-pointing is starting:

“A trillion spent in Iraq, while schools crumble, there aren’t enough cops on the street and bridges decay while our leaders cross their fingers and ignore the rising chances of disaster,” lamented Nick Coleman of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

“I can’t help but feel the desire to go straight for the money that should have been used on my cities’ federally funded interstate highway infrastructure by re-appropriating it directly from Blackwater and Halliburton,” whined Bretton Jones at MinneaPolitics.com.

“We spend billions in Iraq. While we fall apart at home,” wrote a contributor to the Democrats’ hallowed net-roots site, Daily Kos.

“I can’t help thinking that the Bush tax cuts and corruption has contributed to this. Our country is falling apart, but Bush doesn’t care as long as (his) cronies get to make money,” wrote another.

The bid to blame Bush, and for that matter Minnesota’s tax-cutting Republican governor, Tim Pawlenty, as if they were all-powerful and legislatures and officialdom didn’t matter, is an old story.

From KRON4.com:

Congresswoman Louise Slaughter of New York says victims of the bridge collapse in Minnesota are “almost victims of war.” She says a nation “in perpetual war” doesn’t have the money to pay for its road and bridge needs.

Good grief people — get a life! Who the hell are you going to blame for the pimple on your ass when GW heads to Crawford in January 2009?

Remember the old saying Democrats — when you point one finger at someone, there are four pointing back at you.

Several newspapers note that as far back as 1990 their warning bell was sounded on the state of that bridge in Minnesota.  Now doing a bit of high school math, I figure that was way before GW took  office and their was a democrat in the Whithouse.  So using the idiotic thinking of the left, this is really Clinton’s fault.

Well done, Jo. THe fact is that federal highway funding has increased each fiscal year, especially during the Bush years. In 2005 alone, the state of Minnesota received a 49% increase for highway funding. They could have completely replaced this bridge if they wanted to. Or, built three others, for that matter.

Idiots. The defeatists are determined, I’ll tell you. It’s really dangerous for our future.
