Work Clothes

Oh yes, I have fall clothes shopping on the brain, but that is not the reason for the post.

I’m sure most of us out there have a set routine in the mornings, or whenever they get ready for work.  But I’m not one of those that prepares my clothes the night before.  Tried it – but many times when I woke up the next morning, I wasn’t in the mood for what I picked out.  Sometimes I only know that I’m going to wear my favorite pair of black slacks and make sure they are available the night before, but the rest of it I wait until morning.

Now when I was in the Army, I learned how to take 30 minutes to get showered, dress, make-up on, room squared away and in formation — and NOT be late.  It’s an art – I know, stop clapping.

As I was getting ready yesterday morning, I changed three times before hitting on an outfit.  Slacks, top, shoes (changed twice) and I’m off.

Hubby always takes more time than I do to get dressed in the morning.

But he just has more bling to put on than I do.

LOL…that was Seth’s biggest gripe when he got home – having to figure out what to wear to work every day.
